Today we're launching the Video Game Minimap.

Parents know the age rating on the box. What they don't know is what their child is actually doing for two hours on a Tuesday night, whether quitting mid-match costs them something, what the game asks them to buy after the purchase price, or who can talk to them while they play.

An ESRB rating can't answer any of that. So we built something that does.

You type in a game. About two minutes later you get a researched report covering four areas: what your child actually does, what it costs, who they meet, and how you can play along. Every citation is checked against an approved-source list including rating boards, the publisher's own documentation, platform safety pages, and anything outside that list is discarded before the report is built.

We love video games and we're advocates for play. We're also realists about the modern tech industry. This exists to move the household conversation beyond "ban them all" and "it's just a game."
